Today marks the day I finally leave the work force and delve into working for myself full time. I’ve handed in my letter, and I will be officially done tomorrow when the keys go back to the owner. I am finally on my own, and despite being insanely nervous about it, I’m beyond excited. It’s been a long time coming, and it feels amazing knowing that things are finally moving forward.
It was a good day. I got to sit and start mapping out a better plan for my week, I got some things set up for money, and I can now actually focus on what I enjoy doing as opposed to what I have to do to make ends meet. I’m finally going to have more time to work on my writing and art, and I will be making money doing things I love – mainly designing and making clothing, but also photography at times as well.
My favourite part about all of this is that I’ve managed to time it perfectly with the change of seasons, as well as the amazing full moon. The full moon has always marked times of change for me, and this time it’s a huge change, and a very welcome one. Things are finally beginning to look up for me, and I couldn’t be happier.
Now on to better things! Cheers, readers, I’ll be posting some new work very soon. 🙂
