Flash Fiction Challenge: 3 Key Words (11.07.15)

This week is a longer one again. It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these, so I’m curious to see what you guys come up with. I’m going to give you a list of words. You pick 3 to include in your story. How you choose those words is up to you.

So here’s your challenge for the week.

Write a 1,000 word short story including 3 or more of the following words:

island

misreading

suit

punt

brightness

century

increase

contemporary

encoding

chalk

You have until noon (PST) on Friday, July 17th

Write the short story and post it on your blog, website, whatever you use to share your writing online and comment with a link to it here on this post so that everyone can find it.

Go write an awesome story and get back here with your link!

PS, if your story is NSFW, please state that in the comment along with the link just in case.
