Flash Fiction Challenge (15.08.15)

Getting this done a little later in the day than I would have liked, but hey, I’m a busy woman right now. The convention is less than a week away, and things have piled up beyond belief. This challenge is actually related to a piece I was working on a couple of days ago – at least in the general sense.

This week’s challenge is to write a descriptive paragraph about a god. A known god, and you can pick which one. It could be a really obscure one, or someone as well known as Poseidon. Doesn’t matter which culture, either. Write what you think that god would be like, not how they are described in legends. Tell me something no one knows, maybe a secret hobby they have that is too embarrassing to tell anyone about, or some weird quirk that goes against legend. Just tell me about your version of a god from legend, and make sure you include their name and culture so it’s easy for us to look them up if we don’t know who they are.

You have until noon (PST) on Friday, August 21st

Write the paragraph and post it on your blog, website, whatever you use to share your writing online, and comment with a link to it here on this post so that everyone can find it.

Go write some awesomeness and check back with your link! Can’t wait to see what people come up with. 😉

PS, if your entry is NSFW, please state that in the comment along with the link just in case.

  1. Andrew Troy Keller says:

While I was checking out a scene that looked like it was right out of Ancient Greece, this beautiful maiden walked right up to me and introduced herself as Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty before she got naked and waited for me to fuck her.
