Flash Fiction Challenge: Halloween (30.10.15)

Today’s challenge is brought to you by Halloween. Yep, that’s right. I’m giving you until tomorrow to write something for Halloween, and it doesn’t have to be long. I usually do these challenges on a Saturday, and there will be one for tomorrow, but it seemed pointless to give you a challenge for Halloween tomorrow if the end date isn’t until November. So you’re getting 24 hours to write something cool for the holiday.

The only guidelines you’re getting this week are 300 words and Halloween themed. The rest is up to you. You can write something for any age or something just for adults, or maybe just go into detail about some gruesome scene in your head that would be fitting for the day. Whatever tickles your fancy.

You have until noon (PST) TOMORROW (October 31st)

Write the paragraph, story, poem, what have you, and post it on your blog, website, whatever you use to share your writing online and comment with a link to it here on this post so that everyone can find it. This is also open to anyone who wants to create a poem rather than a story. So if you’re more a poet than a storyteller, feel free to join in as well.

Go write an awesome story and get back here with your link!

Between Love and Death, the debut novel from Kimberley Crawford’s Love and Death Series, is scheduled for release on December 9th, 2015.
