Flash Fiction Challenge: 3 Words (21.11.15)

It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these, so I figured it was time. I love these ones myself, and it’s always cool to see what everyone comes up with using different combinations. What am I talking about? I’m talking about my 3 words challenge. That’s where I give you a list of ten words to choose from, and you use a minimum of three of them in a story.

So that’s you’re challenge for this week. Write a 1,000 word story using 3 or more of the following words. And just for fun, write something sci-fi. That’s far from what I usually go for, so I’m excited to see what everyone comes up with. (I realize maybe this one doesn’t work for all of the people doing NaNoWriMo this month, but you’re probably so overwhelmed right about now that the break will be good for you.)

You have until noon (PST) on Friday, November 27th

Write the paragraph and post it on your blog, website, whatever you use to share your writing online and comment with a link to it here on this post so that everyone can find it. This is also open to anyone who wants to create a poem rather than a story. So if you’re more a poet than a storyteller, feel free to join in as well.

Go write an awesome story and get back here with your link!

Between Love and Death, the debut novel from Kimberley Crawford’s Love and Death Series, is scheduled for release on December 9th, 2015.
