Flash Fiction Challenge: 3 Words (28.05.16)

This week I’m too exhausted to come up with something new to give you. Lame, right? I’ve spent the last week and a half (almost two weeks, actually) sicker than I’ve been in years. Nothing serious, just an insanely bad cold that was too disorienting to focus on anything at all. I’m only now starting to feel normal again, but I’m still tired and a bit dizzy, among other things. So because I can’t think of anything any more interesting than this, I’m going to give you a list of ten words to use for your story.

You know the drill. I give you a list of ten words, you use a minimum of three in your story. 1,000 words, any genre, and you have one week to write it. So here are your words:

apostrophe (the actual word, not the symbol)

inference

transport

browsing

thread

shadow

bigot

byte

song

convict

You have until noon (PST) on Friday, June 3rd

Write the story and post it on your blog, website, whatever you use to share your writing online and comment with a link to it here on this post so that everyone can find it. This is also open to anyone who wants to create a poem rather than a story. So if you’re more a poet than a storyteller, feel free to join in as well.

Go write an awesome story and get back here with your link!
